Là où la terre ancienne rencontre la sagesse de l'Orient
A living preserve in France dedicated to historic land stewardship and the contemplative arts of East and West.
Notre Philosophie / 侘寂 Wabi-Sabi
In the moss-covered stone, in the imperfect circle, in the silence between notes — beauty is not found in perfection, but in the honest passage of time.
Wabi-sabi is the Japanese art of finding beauty in imperfection and transience. At our preserve, this philosophy guides how we tend the land, how we gather, and how we learn — from the ancient French earth beneath our feet and the Eastern traditions that have found a home here.

Une terre qui porte la mémoire des siècles
This land has been tended for centuries — its stone walls, ancient trees, and quiet meadows hold the memory of generations. We are its stewards, committed to preserving both its natural heritage and the living culture it now shelters.
« La beauté n'est pas dans la chose, mais dans ce que la chose éveille en nous. »
